The 12th International Conference on Water Resource and Environment (WRE 2026)

Hosted by the University of Seoul, the 12th International Conference on Water Resource and Environment (WRE 2026) will be held in University of Seoul, Seoul, Republic of Korea from December 1–4, 2026.

Building on the success of previous conferences held in Shanghai (2025), Hong Kong (2024), Matsue, Japan (2023), Macao (2019), Taiwan (2018), Qingdao (2017), Shanghai (2016), Beijing (2015), and online (2020, 2021, 2022), WRE continues to serve as a leading global forum for exchanging cutting-edge research and innovative methodologies in water resources and environmental sciences. WRE 2026 will further strengthen international collaboration and interdisciplinary dialogue toward sustainable water management and environmental solutions.

Seoul, the capital of the Republic of Korea, is not only a major political, economic, and cultural hub of Northeast Asia, but also a vibrant modern metropolis rich in history. Landmarks such as the N Seoul Tower, 63 Building, Lotte World Tower, Dongdaemun Design Plaza, and COEX illustrate the city’s dynamic blend of tradition and contemporary development.
